The October SLA HSA meeting will be IN PERSON!!! Wednesday October 20th at 5:30 p.m. We will be meeting on the roof of Science Leadership Academy.
Dr. Becker-Haimes will discuss how stressful experiences can impact youth mental health and wellbeing. She will highlight the challenges parents/caregivers and youth may experience following highly stressful experiences and exposure to community violence. Dr. Becker-Haimes will discuss strategies and resources for fostering resilience and coping. A portion of time will be reserved for Q&A and discussion.

Welcome to the second annual SLA AnyWay 5k! Started as a virtual race in 2021 by SLA alumni Ethan Chen, the AnyWay 5k was a way to help spread his passion for running with the SLA community. We are continuing his legacy by holding an in person 5k in addition to the virtual event!
Our auction theme this year is “Show The Love Philly.” Philadelphia is known for its great
food, history, art, and music. We are the City of Brotherly Love. Together, we can make 2022 a
year to celebrate our students, teachers, and everyone who makes our community special –
including you and your business!
